Custodial Position at Old Mill Elementary SchoolJoin us for the school year! Interested applicants are encouraged to apply as soon as possible. Bullitt County Public Schools is requesting a waiver to fill this position before the standard 15-day posting period to ensure we are fully staffed for the upcoming school year.Old Mill Elementary School is looking for an energetic, organized and motivated person to maintain the cleanliness of our school. This person will perform routine custodial activities at OMES and maintain building and adjacent grounds areas in a clean, orderly and secure condition.Position DetailsHours: 8 hours per day (plus a 30-minute unpaid lunch)Contract Length: 261 days per yearContract Adjustments: Contracted days will be prorated based on the start dateEmployment Status: Full-time with benefitsEmployment Type: 12-month employee on the classified pay scheduleQualifications & RequirementsEducation:High school diploma or GEDDocumentation: Candidates must provide proof of educational requirements to HR upon recommendation for hire. Pay ScaleStarting Pay (Step 0): $17.64/hourExperienced Pay (Step 10): $21.48/hourWe value experience! New hires may bring up to 10 years of comparable, full-time, verified experience. The hired applicant is responsible for submitting the BCPS Verification of Experience Form to prior employers for completion and return to HR.Salary Formula: Hours per day × Hourly rate = Daily rate Daily rate × Contracted days = Annual salary.
