Job description
Plant ManagerWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations. As the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our production facility. This is a key leadership role that requires strong management skills and a deep understanding of manufacturing processes.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement strategies to improve production efficiency and reduce costsOversee all aspects of plant operations, including production planning, scheduling, and inventory managementLead and motivate a team of production supervisors and operators to achieve production targetsMonitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvementImplement lean manufacturing principles to optimize processes and eliminate wasteCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality assurance, and supply chain, to drive continuous improvement initiativesEnsure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety throughout the plantManage relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and componentsDevelop and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and address any concernsRequirementsBachelor's degree in engineering or a related field (Master's degree preferred)Proven experience as a Plant Manager or in a similar role within a manufacturing environmentStrong knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies, such as lean manufacturing or Six SigmaSolid understanding of supply chain management principlesExcellent leadership and communication skillsAbility to analyze complex data and make data-driven decisionsMechanical knowledge and experience in fabrication is a plusExperience with production planning systems is highly desirableIf you are a results-oriented professional with a passion for driving operational excellence, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
