We are representing a globally recognized manufacturing organization actively seeking an Operations Manager to lead production at their Michigan facility. This leader will oversee plant production lines, coordinate cross-functional teams, and drive performance across safety, quality, and delivery.
Position Overview
Leads production supervisors, technicians, and a large production workforce (100+ employees)
Owns daily performance against safety, quality, delivery, and cost KPIs
Enforces safety protocols and drives lean manufacturing principles and daily management systems to hit output targets
Partners with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Finance to improve plant throughput and resolve operational issues
Contributes to annual operating plans, labor capacity models, and staffing strategy
Leads continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and strengthen plant performance
Develops, coaches, and holds accountable a strong front-line leadership team
Position Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, xzgxqkn Supply Chain, Business, or a related field (or equivalent manufacturing experience)
5+ years of manufacturing experience, including 3+ years in a leadership or plant management role
Working knowledge of ERP systems and Lean/Six Sigma tools
Proven ability to lead teams, drive results, and work cross-functionally
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
