Plant Manager | $80K-$120K + Bonus
Schedule: 1st Shift (7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday-Friday)
Compensation: $80,000-$120,000 Base Salary + Up to $10,000 Annual Bonus
A precision manufacturer serving the aerospace, defense, and commercial markets, is seeking a Plant Manager to lead daily manufacturing operations, production planning, materials management, inventory control, purchasing activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring operational excellence, on-time delivery, workforce performance, and efficient utilization of materials and resources throughout the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead all daily plant operations with a focus on safety, quality, delivery, and productivity
Own and maintain the Master Production Schedule to support customer demand and production objectives
Oversee material planning and proactively manage shortages to minimize production disruptions
Direct purchasing, supplier relationships, RFQs, inventory management, and receiving activities
Partner with production, engineering, quality, and warehouse teams to drive operational performance
Monitor inventory levels, lead times, capacity, and on-time delivery metrics
Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
Track vendor performance and ensure materials are available to meet production requirements
Support forecasting, capacity planning, and SIOP activities
Lead and develop plant personnel while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
Qualifications:
Plant management, operations management, or manufacturing leadership experience
Strong background in production planning, scheduling, materials management, purchasing, and inventory control
Experience working within a manufacturing environment
Strong ERP/MRP system knowledge
Proven track record of improving operational performance, on-time delivery, and inventory management
Ability to read engineering drawings and material specifications
Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Self-motivated leader capable of thriving in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
What We Offer:
$80,000-$120,000 base salary
Up to $10,000 annual performance bonus
First-shift schedule with weekends off
