Job description
Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, seeks a full-time 12-month Department Head for the Plant Sciences Department. The position leads faculty, budget, curriculum and outreach, with teaching commitments and scholarly activity expectations.
The incumbent will manage facilities and coordinate with industry and alumni, with a start date around June 1, 2027. Rank and salary are commensurate with qualifications, with anticipated hiring range of $175,000–$185,000 at Full Professor rank, and tenure considerations
