2nd Shift Plant SupervisorDaniels Health is seeking a hands-on 2nd Shift Plant Supervisor to oversee operations at our Stow, OH facility. This role is ideal for a mechanically inclined leader who drives safety, compliance, and efficient plant performance through a frontline team.About Daniels Health:We're on a mission to make healthcare safer. Daniels Health provides reusable medical waste containers designed to reduce needlestick injuries and support sustainability. After use, we professionally clean and sanitize each container for reuse, while responsibly disposing of medical waste at our treatment facilities. Our closed-loop system ensures safety, compliance, and environmental responsibility for our customers.What You'll Do:Lead 1st shift plant operations across production and dock to meet safety, quality, and throughput targetsChampion safety: daily floor walkthroughs, PPE and hazard control, incident and near-miss reporting, and weekly safety talksEnsure compliance with OSHA and regulatory standards (permits, environmental requirements, ISO/AQIS/DOT tasks, audits)Uphold quality standards and sanitation requirements across processes and equipmentPlan daily capacity, labor coverage, and workflow; manage inventory and stock controlCoach, train, and develop team members; support performance reviews and build a cross-trained, reliable shiftSupport preventive maintenance and equipment uptime in partnership with maintenance and site leadershipMonitor KPIs and escalate service-impacting issues in collaboration with sales, service, and logisticsMust-Have Qualifications:3-5 years of plant, warehouse, manufacturing, or operations leadership experienceMechanical aptitude, hands-on problem-solving skills, and comfort working around industrial equipmentExperience in a process-driven environment with clear standards and documentationFamiliarity with OSHA and regulatory compliance standards and ability to enforce themProven ability to improve processes, lead teams effectively, and hold others accountableAbility to work weekends, holidays, or flex hours as neededPhysically able to lift up to 55 lbs and push/pull carts up to 300 lbs; extended standing and occasional confined space work requiredNice-to-Have Qualifications:Experience in regulated industries such as waste management, logistics, or manufacturingExposure to regulatory audits, environmental programs, or permit-driven operationsBackground in continuous improvement, capacity planning, or KPI reportingIndustry Leader: Over 20 years of excellence in medical waste management with top-tier NPS and delivery-reliability scores401K Matching: 50% employer match on up to 6% contribution (up to 3% employer contribution), with match starting Day 1, 5 year vesting scheduleComprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage effective Day 1; paid short-term disability; company-sponsored life insurance; and moreJob Stability: As an essential healthcare service provider, we're recession-proof and non-seasonalEmpowering, visionary culture: We think differently, act boldly, and value authenticity, creativity, and trust.
