Supervisor PositionSupervise, train and motivate employees and work teams to meet quality standards, production goals, efficiencies and customer satisfaction while maintaining a safe work environment for all employees.A Day in the Life | Responsibilities We Trust You With:Oversee the production process looking for ways to improve efficiencies, meeting all production quotas and deadlinesAssign work, analyze productivity, workflow, methods and procedures, making recommendations to management as appropriateEnforce all company policies and plant rules, to include but not limited to problem solving, development & implementation of standard operating proceduresCompletes production labor schedule by scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules to minimize OT; resolving problems; reporting results of the shift production dailyMaintains working relationship with the union by following the terms of the collective bargaining agreement where applicableResponsible to meet all food safety, quality and customer requirements for this positionWhat You Must Know | Education and Experience:4 year degree or equivalent work experience in a high speed manufacturing environment, preferably consumer packaged goodsMinimum 2 - 4 years experience supervisory experience in a fast paced consumer packaged goods environmentBetter Process School (will provide)Computer skillsSelf-motivation and safety awareness.What You Need to Be Good At | Competencies and Skills:Excellent communication and facilitation skillsAbility to communicate with all levels of management and subordinates using both verbal and written formatsAbility to interact effectively at all levels of the organizationSelf-motivated and able to handle multiple projects simultaneouslyAbility to work a flexible scheduleRead written work orders, manuals, measurement instruments and company-posted work and safety policies, procedures and programsYour Working Relationships | Leadership:Requires employee to directly supervise othersFosters collaboration and teamwork.Gains support and commitment from within departments as well as with other divisions within the organizationYour Work Environment | Working Conditions and Safety Considerations:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
