Plant Technician
PLANT TECHNICIAN
SHIFT – 4th Shift (Nights) & 3rd Shift (Days)
PAY - $19.00 / hr plus $2 per hour for Night Shift Differential
Our Frontenac, Kansas facility is now accepting applications for Full-Time Plant Technician positions on 3rd (day) & 4th (night) shifts, 6a to 6:20p and 6p to 6:20a. These positions will be trained in multiple areas of the plant to prepare them for any openings that become available in the operations area of the plant. Competitive wages and excellent benefits. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Follow all company Safety Rules and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's).
Produce high quality products in a safe and healthful manner.
Assigned shift attendance is required.
To work in all areas of packaging, as assigned, which includes operating, being near, and crossing platforms over machinery.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Assist fellow employees as needed.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or GED
Manufacturing experience is highly preferred
Two years forklift operation in a manufacturing environment is highly preferred
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must be able to read and write English
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, GMP's, and general instructions
Good communication skills are required
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Be able to lift 50 pounds on a routine basis
Push/Pull up to 100 pounds on a routine basis
Be able to climb and work in extreme heat or cold and on scaffolding at very high elevations
Compensation details: 19-21 Hourly Wage
