A thriving academic healthcare system is seeking a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon to work in Greenville, North Carolina! (1h30 from Raleigh, NC)

9 hospital healthcare system serving eastern North Carolina with a robust network of primary care and referring physicians

The hub of this system is a 974 bed Level 1 Trauma Center located in Greenville.

This group provides high quality orthopedic care across multiple practices across eastern North Carolina.

Easy access to the beautiful beaches and outer banks of North Carolina

About this role - Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon Candidates interested in general plastic and reconstructive surgery are encouraged to apply

Also open to those with post-residency fellowship training in hand surgery.

The successful candidate will perform the full spectrum of reconstructive plastic surgery.

Employment by a respected regional health system

Hospital privileges at a 974-bed Level 1 Trauma Center

Established practice with 4 surgeons and 5 Advanced Practice Providers

Access to a nationally recognized Ambulatory Surgery Center for outpatient procedures

Comprehensive surgical program

Dedicated block OR scheduling

Shared call with resident support

Expansive referral network consisting of 29 counties and over 1.4 million people

Full practice support by the health system

Ability to live in a thriving cultural and educational community with excellent affordability and close proximity to the North Carolina coast

Background Desired - Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon Board Certified or Board Eligible in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery

Ability to acquire and maintain a North Carolina State License

Fellowship training in Hand Surgery preferred
