Role Description
The Partner Physician and Director of Surgical Services is a contract, on-site role based in the New York City Metropolitan Area. This role involves performing and overseeing aesthetic procedures, including injectable treatments and surgical or minimally invasive services, while maintaining the highest standards of safety, compliance, and patient experience. The Director will manage surgical service workflows, supervise clinical staff involved in surgical and procedural care, and collaborate on treatment planning for clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting consultations, developing individualized care plans, monitoring outcomes, and ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and documentation requirements. The Partner Physician will also participate in practice growth initiatives, contribute to training and mentoring other providers, and collaborate with leadership on expanding surgical service offerings.
Qualifications
Board-certified physician (e.g., plastic surgery, dermatology, cosmetic surgery, or related specialty) with active, unrestricted medical license in New York or eligibility to obtain one.
Extensive experience in aesthetic procedures, including injectables (e.g., fillers, neuromodulators) and minimally invasive or surgical cosmetic treatments.
Demonstrated leadership in clinical settings, with experience directing surgical services, supervising medical staff, and managing operating or procedure room workflows.
Strong skills in patient consultation, treatment planning, and clear communication of risks, benefits, and expected outcomes.
Commitment to evidence-based practice, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance, including meticulous charting and informed consent processes.
Ability to collaborate effectively with aesthetic providers, practice management, and support staff to ensure cohesive, high-quality patient care.
Interest in practice development, including participation in marketing efforts, patient education initiatives, and public or professional presentations.
Prior experience in high-end med spa, cosmetic practice, or surgical center in an urban or high-demand market is highly beneficial.
Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development and advanced aesthetic training to maintain cutting-edge skills.
