nJob Summary : We are seeking a Lead Senior Collaboration Platform Designer with strong, hands-on experience designing, deploying, and supporting Google and Microsoft Collaboration at enterprise scale. This position will lead the collaboration platform modernization and Operational initiatives.
nThis position requires real-world, operational experience. While certifications are valued, demonstrated hands-on experience designing, deploying, automating, migrating, and supporting Google and Microsoft collaboration platform workloads in production environments carries more weight.
nExperience supporting the design, governance, and day-to-day operations of Google and Microsoft is a core part of this role, directly supporting the Department's collaboration Platform management task area.
nJob Role Specific Requirements:
nGoogle and Microsoft Collaboration Administration & Operations
nnnAdminister and support Google (Workspace, Sites and Drive and Microsoft (SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive)
n
nnManage site configurations, permissions, and sharing using least privilege principles
n
nnConfigure and maintain collaboration governance: external sharing, retention, sensitivity labels, and lifecycle policies
n
nnMonitor platform health, service health, usage and reporting using Google and Microsoft Admin centers
n
nnTroubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and manage problem resolution to SLA
n
nnSupport environments across development, test, and production tenants
n
n nPlatform Development & Automation
nnnDesign, build, and maintain business solutions using the Google and Microsoft Platform:

nnLooker Studio Reporting
n
nnPower Apps (canvas and model-driven apps)

nnDataverse and SharePoint lists as data sources

nnAutomate business processes and workflows using:

nnDocument library, list, and workflow migrations

n nGovernance, Integration & Identity
nnnManage the Integration of Google and Microsoft collaboration services with enterprise systems such as:
n
nnIdentity platforms (Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD, Active Directory, SSO)
n
nnLine-of-business and SaaS applications
n
nnThird-party migration and governance tooling (e.g., Sharegate, Metalogix, AvePoint)
n
nnMicrosoft Graph, REST APIs, and connectors
n
nnSecurity, networking, and application teams
n
nnCollaboration governance, naming, and lifecycle standards
n
n nApplication & End-User Support
nnnManage solutions deployed on:
n
nnGoogle (Workspace and sites) and Microsoft SharePoint
n
nnGoogle Meet and Microsoft Teams

nnGoogle Looker/Sheets and Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps / Power Automate)

n Required Skills and Qualifications:
nnnAvailability during 7AM-7PM Eastern support window.
n
nnBachelor's and 14+ years of experience, Master's Degree and 12+ years of experience or PhD and 9+ years of experience required
n
nnExperience Leading a Team of 10-15 people in Day-to-day Operational management of Incidents, problems, QA, and SLA adherence
n
nn8+ years of hands-on experience designing and supporting platforms in production environments
n
nnExperience managing and supporting collaboration services, including:
n
nnGoogle Workspace Collaboration Tools (Gmail, Sites, Drive, Meet, Forms, etc.)
n
nnSharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, and Microsoft 365 Groups
n
nnGovernance, permissions, and lifecycle management
n
nnGoogle Gemini, AppSheet, Workspace studio, Looker, Sheets
n
nnPower Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
n
nnMigrations (on-prem SharePoint → SharePoint Online and/or tenant-to-tenant)
n
nnGoogle Cloud CLI and PowerShell for Automation and administration
n
nnIncident, problem management, quality assurance, and SLA analysis
n
nnTroubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills; able to work independently while collaborating across teams
n
n nPreferred / Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
nnnExperience with Google Collaboration platform at scale
n
nnExperience with the Power Platform at scale (model-driven apps, Dataverse, solution/ALM management)
n
nnExperience with workflow/forms automation using Power Automate at enterprise scale
n
nnExperience with Microsoft Graph, Azure, and custom app integration with Teams/SharePoint
n
nnExperience supporting enterprise identity integrations (Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD, SSO)
n
nnFamiliarity with Google and Microsoft security, compliance, and information-governance best practices
n
nnGoogle and Microsoft certifications (e.g., Google Collaboration & Workspace Certifications, MS-700, PL-900/PL-100/PL-400, SC-400, MS-102) - optional
n
n nNote: Candidate must be a U.S. citizen or green card holder who has resided in the U.S. for at least 3 years and the ability to obtain public trust.
nTarget salary range: $200,001 - $240,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
