You'll work hands-on with parts throughout the process while following established procedures, quality requirements and safe chemical-handling practices.You'll work closely with the Plating team to keep production moving safely and efficiently while maintaining the quality our customers expect.What We're Looking ForPrevious experience in electroplating, metal finishing, surface treatment or a similar manufacturing environment is required. This position is also eligible for a weekend shift differential.As part of a manufacturing environment supporting customer demand, additional hours may occasionally be required based on business needs.Come grow with us and build your career at PacAero.RequirementsPerform and support plating operations, including blasting, degreasing, chem film and electroplating processesSupport part preparation, handling, cleaning and inspection throughout the plating processFollow established work instructions, standard operating procedures and process requirementsSafely handle chemicals, materials and equipment in accordance with established safety proceduresMonitor work and parts for quality throughout assigned processesAccurately document production activities and required process informationAssist with equipment setup and routine maintenance as neededMaintain a clean, safe and organized work areaWork collaboratively with Plating, Quality and other production team members to support production requirementsPerform other related duties as assigned by the Plating ManagerQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredPrevious experience in electroplating, metal finishing, surface treatment or a related manufacturing environment requiredAbility to follow detailed work instructions, procedures and safety requirementsStrong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality workAbility to work independently while contributing to a team environmentBasic computer skills for production documentationKnowledge of plating processes and safe chemical-handling practicesWork Environment & Physical RequirementsThis position works in an active manufacturing and plating environment and may involve exposure to chemicals, machine noise, production equipment and varying temperatures. Employees must be able to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.The role may require standing and walking for extended periods; bending, reaching and other physical movement throughout the shift; lifting and moving materials or components weighing up to 50 pounds; safely working around chemicals and production equipment; and wearing all required personal protective equipment (PPE).Expected CompensationThe anticipated pay range posted for this position represents PacAero (Litron, LLC)'s good-faith estimate of compensation for the role at the time of posting.
