PlumberPay Rate: $27.50 an hourSign On Bonus: $2,000 hire on bonus is for new hires and rehires that are returning after 5 years or more. The bonus will be paid out in equal $333/$334 portions after successfully completing 3 months, 6 months and 9 months of employment with Treasure Island Resort & Casino.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesPerform preventative maintenance of all plumbing fixturePerform plumbing duties and inspectionsRepair sinks, stools, faucets, drains, traps, sumps and filter systemsPlan and develop recommendations for renovations and expansionsEnsure adherence to Minnesota state codesEstimate costs for projects and expansionsResponsible for inventory control and purchasing of plumbing equipment and suppliesKnowledge And Certification, Skills and AbilitiesRequired Knowledge and Certification:High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experienceState of Minnesota Journeyman's licenseValid Driver's License and clean driving recordPreferred:Any certificates or license pertaining to this role such as Master PlumberRequired Skills:Accurate and detail-orientedHighly organized and ability to adapt quickly to changing prioritiesStrong mechanical aptitudeRequired Abilities:Ability to work independentlyPhysical DemandsMust be able to walk and stand for periods of up to 8 hoursMust have a good sense of balance, and be able to bend and kneelMust be able to push, pull and grasp objectsMust be able to climb laddersMust have the ability to independently lift minimum 25 pounds routinelyMust be able to perform repetitive hand and wrist motionsMust have good hand eye coordinationWorking EnvironmentWork is performed throughout the entire property (inside and outdoors) and may include excessive noise, such as power tools, dust and fumes from paints, varnishes, stains and the like, flashing lights, frequent loud noises and cigarette smokeMust be able to work in cramped, tight quartersMust be willing to work a flexible schedule including all shifts, weekends and holidaysEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
