Job description
Mechanical And Technical SupportProvides mechanical and technical support for all types of equipment and components related to the water, sewer and steam utility distribution system. Responds to service calls, trains mechanics on plumbing basics. Assists with general maintenance duties.Education and TrainingHigh school graduate or equivalent.ExperienceGraduate of a two (2) year Plumber trade school and/or six (6) years plumbing experience in a large institution, commercial facility or service company, or healthcare.Other Skills, Competencies and QualificationsAbility to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals, engineers, contractors, and staff.Ability to analyze data, diagnose and troubleshoot complex systems and equipment.Ability to fabricate from blueprints and sketches.RequiredHS Diploma or Equivalent or better.PreferredTechnical/Trade School or better in Job Related Field.Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
