PlumberECM Holding Group, INC. is seeking a highly motivated Plumber who is willing to travel 100% of the time.The Plumber role is a hands-on role responsible for the installation, modification, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems for both drainage and water. The Plumber role will ensure all work meets stringent quality and safety standards while adhering to project timelines and budgets. This role involves significant travel, up to 100% of the time, for projects that may last two weeks or longer. This position requires physical stamina, a willingness to learn, and strong attention to detail. This is a dynamic role that requires extensive travel to various job sites, often involving both driving company vehicles and air travel.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesMaintain and repair broken pipes, and clogged drainsInstall underground sanitary, drainage, and water supply piping systemsConduct the layout, assembly, and installation of pipe fixtures for water systemsCut pipes and transport to project locations where they are requiredUtilize hand tools in fitting of valves, couplings and components for tanks, pumps or other plumbing systemDig trenches/install pipes and piping fixtures for water or sewage systemsFill pipes with resin or sand to prevent distortion and ensure they are steady during installationImmerse pipes in chemical solutions such as bleach and dispersants to remove oil, dirt, and scaleMount hangers and brackets on walls to provide support for pipesEnsure compliance with building codes and set safety standardsMeasure, cut, thread, and assemble pipes to required angles using measurement toolsInspect plumbing systems to identify issues and initiate repairsLiaise with contractors, and other construction workers to ensure an effective plumbing systemOther duties as assignedQualificationsEducation and ExperienceHigh school diploma or GED certificateCompletion of a vocational school certificate program, associate degree, or apprenticeship preferred1+ years of plumbing experienceAble to read technical designs and blueprintsProficient with plumbing tools, materials, and equipmentKnowledge in piping and ventilation systemsValid driver licenses requiredOSHA 10, if not certified must be completed within 30 days of hire dateSkills and AbilitiesAbility to get the proper equipment or company vehicles to and from job sitesAbility to work independently on a job siteAbility to use good judgement and problem-solving skills while striving to work safelyAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to always demonstrate a respectful and professional demeanorGood interpersonal communication skills and the ability to read, speak and writePhysical DemandsPlumbers may spend long hours outside and in awkward positions which can cause physical discomfort and strain. Plumbers will be lifting and adjusting heavy objects, and will come in contact with sharp, hot and/or very cold supplies and equipment. Plumbers must maintain safety procedures at all times to avoid injury. Plumbers may also come in contact with potential poisons and gases that could cause injury or illness. Constant (67-100%) standing and walking. Frequent (34-66%), repetitive lifting of up to 50 lbs over shoulder height. Frequent (34-66%) moving of heavy equip.Frequent (34-66%) bending, squatting and twisting. Frequent (34-66%) climbing and the use of ladders and scaffolding. Requires stamina to work extended hours.Work EnvironmentWhile performing the essential functions of this position, the plumber will be subject to both inside and outside environmental conditions including exposure to extreme cold, heat and humidity.
