Excavator/PlumberGood Plumbing, Heating, Air Conditioning, Inc. Souderton, PA Full-Time Reports To: Plumbing DirectorGood Plumbing, Heating, and Air Conditioning is hiring for an experienced Excavator/Plumber. This is a full-time year-round position with a primary focus on excavating responsibilities. Founded in 1949, the company has grown to over 60 employees. Servicing an extensive base of residential and commercial customers throughout the community, our company goal is to provide reliable knowledgeable, honest, and friendly service at a fair price. This role serves as a key member of our team.Responsibilities and Duties:New excavations for sanitary, water, rain, gasExcavation and repair for broken sewer lines and water lines, as well as locating well headsResidential and Commercial environments, both exterior and interiorConcrete slab cutting, hammering, removal, restorationWorking with a plumbing installation or service team member to complete installations and repairs5 day work week with opportunity for extra hours and weekend work throughout the yearTypical work day is 9 hours. Paid overtime after 40 hoursNote:When not excavating, there is year-round employment, assisting with plumbing system installation and repairsRequired Experience and Qualifications:Operating JD30 / similar mini excavatorOperating Bobcat 418 / similar mini excavatorOperating skid loaderHammer attachmentsWalk behind concrete sawHandheld concrete saw / cutoff saw for pipeDump Truck – single axle – non-CDLTrailering EquipmentMaintaining EquipmentDriver's License - Medical Card RequiredCDL license a plus but not requiredFamiliar with One-Call procedures and experience in digging around utilitiesEager to learn and work independently or as part of a teamGood communication skillsBenefitsCompetitive base salaryMedical, Dental, & Vision InsuranceSupplemental, Life, Short Term Disability, Accident and other insurance options also availablePaid time off (PTO)Paid Holidays401KBonusesCompany supplied toolsPaid TrainingCollaborative & Friendly cultureIf you are an experienced Excavator/Plumber, and live within a commutable distance to the Souderton Pa area, please apply today!
