Job description
Plumber DutiesAs a Plumber, you will perform the following duties which is not all inclusive list:Independently install, modify, repair and maintain a variety of new and existing utility, supply and disposal systems and equipment.Plan work based on oral instructions, preventive maintenance programs, work orders, emergency calls, blueprints, drawings, specifications, and layout sketches.Plan the sequence of work and determines the appropriate tools, equipment, and materials needed to complete assigned projects.Use sound judgment to identify and resolve routine issues and refers unusual or difficult problems to the supervisor.Install valves and traps as needed for proper operation of a variety of plumbing systems and equipment.Use shop mathematics to layout angles, arcs, circles and in planning the layout of plumbing or piping systems.Ensure completed work complies with instructions, applicable standards, and acceptable workmanship requirements.
