Plumber PositionA working Plumber that provides direction and guidance when Foreman is not available.QualificationsHigh School diploma or G.E.D. requiredAbility to speak, read and understand the English languageMust have clear and acceptable driving record as determined by the Texas School Bus Driver's requirementTerms of employment: 261 daysSalary/Paygrade: $30.67/HS-12Salary (based on verifiable job-related experience) as set by the Board of Trustees for the school yearSpecial Knowledge/SkillsMinimum 7 years experience in the tradeComplete working knowledge of codes and ordinances concerning Plumbing systemsRead, comprehend and edit specifications and prints for new constructionEssential FunctionsPerform all responsibilities of a Plumber I, II, III and IVMaintain a good working relationship with fellow employeesServe as first contact for problems, concerns or grievancesMake recommendations concerning advancement and discipline of staff to ForemanApprove purchases, work orders and daily business when Foreman is not availableMeet with Foreman daily to review and update jobsCoordinate and assist in department with modifications, work orders, emergencies and large projects as needed to complete assignmentsPerform other duties assigned by ForemanWorking ConditionsMust be able to lift and carry 75 pounds.Be available to work different schedules or shifts to accomplish tasks.Be available for after hour demands, subject to 24 hour responsibility.Maintain emotional control under stress.Ability to work alone.Ability to keep information confidential.Deadline to apply: Until filledApplications will be reviewedNot all applicants will be interviewedHiring Managers may choose to email you regarding this application.
