Plumbing TechnicianQualifications:High school diploma/GEDHold a journeyman plumber's licenseMinimum of two years journeyman license experienceExperience with technology and mobile devicesValid Arkansas driver's licenseReports To: Plumbing ForemanJob Goal: To help maintain the physical school plants in a condition of operating excellence so that full educational use of them may be made at all times.Performance Responsibilities:Maintenance, repair, and installation of plumbing.Train apprentices and helpers in the plumbing field.Install plumbing, according to architects' plans, on all new construction and/or renovation projects.Work with and assist other staff/trades as directed.Perform some heavy lifting.Perform work at varying heights on a ladder.Perform work in extreme weather conditions.Perform work underneath, on top of, and in attics of buildings.Respond to after hour emergencies.Perform other duties as assigned.Terms of Employment:Salary Range: Range 12 - Support Staff Hourly Salary Schedule ($18.10/hr. - $29.66/hr. depending on relevant experience)Length of Contract: 244 contract daysFLSA Status: Non-exemptPersonnel Status: ClassifiedBenefits Eligible: YesEvaluation:Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on Evaluation of Support Staff Personnel.Application Procedure:Interested and qualified applicants should submit an online application at Personnel currently employed by the District who meet the necessary qualifications may apply by submitting an online District application.Application Deadline: March 3, 2026 (or until filled - emergency posting)PCSSD does not discriminate on the basis of age, disability, race, color, national origin, or gender in any service, program, or activity (including in admission, access, treatment, employment, or vocational opportunities).
