Plumbing Crew LeaderCharlotte Mechanical is a well-respected mechanical contractor in the Charlotte area. We are experiencing rapid growth and are seeking a Plumbing Crew Leader to join our Raleigh, NC team. This position is ideal for a motivated leader who takes pride in quality workmanship, safety, and team development.The Plumbing Crew Leader helps manage multi-family plumbing construction crews by planning, organizing, and controlling projects; supervising employees and subcontractors; completing quality inspections; and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.Key ResponsibilitiesCommunicate job expectations and provide direction to crew membersPlan, monitor, and evaluate job performance and productivityContribute construction data and feedback to strategic planning and project reviewsImplement and maintain production, productivity, quality, and customer service standardsIdentify and resolve project issues; recommend improvements to construction management systemsDefine project scope, purpose, and resource requirementsSchedule and coordinate crews and subcontractorsEstablish jobsite standards and protocolsResolve design issues and evaluate and implement change ordersConduct inspections at critical phases to approve work qualityEnsure compliance with local, state, and national plumbing and safety codesEnforce safety standards to maintain a secure and healthy work environmentStay current with emerging construction practices and industry standardsParticipate in training, educational opportunities, and professional developmentSkills & QualificationsProven experience leading plumbing crewsMust be skilled in both rough-in and trim plumbingStrong supervision and delegation skillsQuality management and quality-focused mindsetAbility to manage productivity and profitabilitySupply and materials management experienceStrong communication and problem-solving skillsRequirementsMust pass a drug screenMust pass a background checkMust have own hand toolsCompensation & BenefitsExcellent hourly rate401(k)Medical, Dental & Vision InsuranceVacation PayHoliday PayESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan)
