We invest in our people through training, mentorship, and advancement opportunities, with performance-based incentives, access to industry-leading tools and resources, and a supportive environment built to help you thrive in your trade.Lead and supervise plumbing crews on new construction projects, ensuring installations are completed safely, on schedule, on budget, and in full compliance with project specifications and plumbing codes - supporting the company's mission to "Protect the Health of the Nation."QualificationsValid Maryland driver's license (required)Maryland Journeyman Plumber's License (required)Maryland Master Plumber's License (preferred)Special Knowledge/Skills:Proven ability to lead, schedule, and motivate a plumbing crewExpert proficiency installing, troubleshooting, and repairing plumbing systems and fixturesStrong ability to read, interpret, and lay out work from blueprints and plumbing schematicsThorough knowledge of plumbing codes, standards, and inspection requirementsAbility to plan material and labor needs and manage to a project budget and scheduleSkilled with hand and power tools used in plumbingStrong communication, coordination, and conflict-resolution skills across tradesWorking knowledge of OSHA and jobsite safety managementExperience:Minimum 5 years of plumbing experience, including at least 2 years in a lead or foreman roleNew construction plumbing experience highly preferredPrimary Duties:Plan, organize, and direct the daily activities of the plumbing crew on assigned projectsLay out work from blueprints and schematics and assign tasks to crew membersEnsure all installations meet project specifications, plumbing codes, and company quality standardsCoordinate with project managers, general contractors, inspectors, and other trades to keep work on schedule and avoid conflictsMonitor labor hours, productivity, and material usage against the project budget; communicate needs and variances to managementEnforce all OSHA, national, and local safety standards on the jobsiteMentor, train, and develop mechanics, apprentices, and helpersConduct quality-control inspections and correct deficiencies before inspectionMaintain accurate daily reports, timecards, and documentationManage proper inventory, care, and security of assigned tools and equipmentKey Expectations:Lead by example with professionalism, reliability, and a safety-first mindsetHold the crew accountable to schedule, quality, and conduct standardsParticipate in and lead training to advance the team's skillsRepresent the company positively with clients, inspectors, coworkers, and contractorsPreference will be given to military veterans.Job Type: Full-timePay: $27.00 - $35.00 per hourBenefits: 401(k); 401(k) 3% Match; Dental insurance; Employee assistance program; Health insurance; Health savings account; Life insurance; Paid time off; Professional development assistance; Retirement plan; Vision insuranceSchedule: 8-hour shift; Monday to Friday; Nights as needed; Overtime; Weekends as needed; Year-round workSupplemental Pay: Overtime payLicense/Certification: Maryland Journeyman Plumbing License (Required); Driver's License (Required)Work Location: In person - Westminster, MD 21157The responsibilities outlined above are representative but not exhaustive.
