Residential Service Plumber Roanoke, VAOstrom Electrical Plumbing Heating & Air is seeking a skilled and dependable Residential Service Plumber to join our team! In this role, you will diagnose, repair, install, and maintain residential plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment, delivering excellent service and a 5-star customer experience on every call.We offer amazing benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) with company match, paid time off and paid holidays, a company vehicle, tools allowance, uniforms, and ongoing technical training and career advancement opportunities.What You'll DoPerform maintenance and service calls as directed by dispatchArrive on time to your first call each day and keep every customer updated with accurate ETAsUse the expectation card on arrival to walk the customer through what to expect during the callComplete a thorough inspection of the plumbing system on every call, following the evaluation checklist and notifying the customer of any issues foundPresent clear, tiered (ABC) repair and replacement options based on the customer's wants and needsShare information and pricing on service agreements, accessories, and other comfort improvementsDebrief with dispatch after each call and communicate any parts used for replenishmentFollow the PO process for non-truck-stock parts to ensure accurate pricing and a high rate of warm-call completionsKeep your vehicle stocked, accurately inventoried, clean, and safe — and pass quarterly vehicle inspectionsReturn defective warranty parts and unused inventory to the branchAccurately complete all required documentation, including checklists and hours/materials usedMaintain a professional image in company-approved uniform at all timesParticipate in company training and follow all safety policies, reporting any safety concerns to a manager or team leaderWhat We're Looking ForA motivated, goal-driven, team-oriented licensed professionalComfortable earning through a performance-based pay structureStrong communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine desire to exceed client expectationsSomeone who takes pride in clean, done-right workRequirements2+ years of residential plumbing service experienceActive Virginia plumbing license (Journeyman or Master) per state requirementsAbility to diagnose and repair a wide range of plumbing systems and fixturesWillingness to participate in an on-call rotationValid driver's license and insurable driving recordStrong communication and customer service skillsHigh school diploma or GED equivalentMust be 18 years of age or older to apply
