A workspace where happiness is observed!The Plumbing Technician works with our residential plumbing team to provide our customers with top notch service, experience-based solutions, and professional system installations. Duties would be installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing residential plumbing equipment and systems. Best candidates would have abilities to service, repair and install water heaters, water filtration systems, toilets, faucets, showers, sinks, garbage disposals, drain lines, piping, water lines and well pumps. General electrical knowledge is required for diagnosing and installation of electrical components of plumbing systems. Abilities to run sewer line camera, locating and clearing would be a plus. The goal of every employee-owner on this team is to provide a 5-star experience to our customers while practicing and promoting our mission statement and core values.If you love working with customers and thrive in an environment of proven process, with a leadership team that is committed to your success, then we are a great fit for you!Essential duties and responsibilities:Perform install/replacement work on, but not limited to, toilets, sinks, appliances, water heaters, water treatment systems, disposals, sump, and grinder pumps, well pumps and sewer lines.Troubleshoot issues with plumbing fixtures and equipment to replace/installEvaluate residential plumbing problems and take proper corrective actionDisplay teamwork and strive for excellence in all areasFollow service Standard Operating Procedures and guidelinesPerform work within OSHA guidelinesMaintain clean organized and mechanically sound company provided service vehicleWorking knowledge of trade related toolsOperating knowledge of residential plumbing applicationsMinimum / preferred experience and education:High school diploma, completion of G.E.D.Operating knowledge and working proficiency with hand-held computer (i.e. smartphone, tablet).Minimum 3 yrs. experience specific to the residential plumbing industryKnowledge of basic electricity and other electrical safetyAbility to read, understand and work from specifications and drawings.Ability to bend, stoop, reach or stand, lift, and move heavy objectsAbility to perform math computations needed in the tradeTablet and smart phone skillsAbility to communicate, interact and work effectively and cooperatively with peopleValid Driver's License with a clean driving record is requiredAdditional skills desired:Trade school education is preferred but not requiredSewer jetting / excavation experience preferredPhysical demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to manipulate, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.Work environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, extreme heat and risk of electrical shock. The employee is frequently exposed to outside weather conditions.
