We are looking for team members who are ready to be empowered to go above and beyond.Status: Non-Exempt Reports to: Executive HousekeeperJob SummaryThe houseman at Caravan Court will facilitate daily housekeeping functions concerning guest rooms, laundry, and lobby.Essential Duties & FunctionsOperational ResponsibilitiesDeliver clean linen to housekeeping storages and cartsRetrieve trash from storages and carts and send to dumpsterRetrieve soiled linen from designated areas and deposit in laundrySort soiled linen by typeSeparate stained linen for reclaim processRespond to housekeeping requests when requiredSet up roll away beds, cribs, shower chairsAccept housekeeping deliveries and deliver as neededPerform daily, weekly, and monthly PM tasksGuest ServicesAnticipate and attend to guest needs during interactionsBe proactive when attending to guestsTeam Support and TrainingAttend and contribute to department meetingsParticipate in cross trainingComplete all required trainingsCommunication and ReportingFacilitate all internal communications and follow up accordinglyRun all reports necessary to the operationComplete full shift pass on reports and checklistsLog all work in appropriate platformsSafety & ComplianceAdhere to all safety and security guidelinesQualificationsEssential Skills and QualificationsStrong verbal and written communication skillsEffective time management and problem-solving skillsAbility to work well with a team and demonstrate attention to detailExcellent organizational skills and interpersonal abilitiesPhysical RequirementsSitting: Short periods of timeStanding/Walking: Long periods of standing, minimum of 5 consecutive hoursLifting/Carrying: Occasionally, maximum of 50 pounds.
