PM Room AttendantHotel Equities, a multi-award-winning hotel development and hospitality management company, is currently searching for a remarkable PM Room Attendant for the Hilton Harrisburg in Harrisburg, PA.Position Summary:To clean, stock, and provide turn-down service for guest rooms to ensure cleanliness and guest satisfaction.Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:The position requires performing the following essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodation.Clean bathtub, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floor surfaces using cloths, mops, sponges, brushes, and/or cleaning agents by extending arms over head, bending and stooping.Strip and make beds, changing bed linens which may require lifting bedspreads weighing a maximum of 40 lbs.Dust all furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges, and shelves thoroughly.Replenish amenities, linens, and supplies in guest room.Push and pull vacuum throughout entire room and empty trash.Sign for room keys, retrieve, push to assigned rooms, and restock heavy cart. Visually inspect room for cleanliness and appearance and signify completion for room.Due to the nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel.Clean rooms in the allotted time.Other duties:Respond in a timely manner to guest requests for items such as an iron, safety instructions, assistance, direction, and/or other information.Assist with other duties and departments as directed.Required Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:Ability to work conscientiously, meet deadlines, follow instruction and directions, with minimal supervision.Ability to push and/or pull equipment weighing up to 100lbs.Ability to scrub and scour surfaces, extend arms over head to perform cleaning tasks, and work in confined spaces.Basic ability to comprehend English language sufficient to understand information such as safety labels and instructions and basic guest requests.Education / Experience:High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Prior housekeeping experience preferred.Physical Requirements:The individual holding this position must be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.Frequency Key: Never – 0 hours; Rare – up to 1 hour; Occasional – 1-3 hours; Frequent – 3-6 hours; Constant – 6-8 hoursPhysical Activity Frequency Sitting Rare Walking Constant Climbing Stairs Occasional Crouching/Bending/Stooping Frequent Reaching Frequent Grasping Constant Pushing/Pulling Frequent Near Vision Constant Far Vision Constant Hearing Occasional Talking Rare Smell Frequent Lifting/Carrying(# lbs) Frequent – up to 50 lbs.
