PM Sanitation LeadAre you a dedicated, safety-conscious professional with a keen eye for detail and a passion for maintaining high standards of cleanliness? We are seeking a motivated PM Sanitation Lead to oversee and elevate our plant's sanitation operations. This pivotal role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a dynamic team, ensure compliance with safety and hygiene regulations, and drive continuous improvement in sanitation procedures.Key Responsibilities:Leadership & Team Development: Train, mentor, and support sanitation team members during assigned shifts, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment that encourages safety and excellence.Operational Oversight: Manage daily sanitation activities, including surface disinfection, equipment cleaning, and waste disposal, ensuring timely execution and adherence to high cleanliness standards. Utilize tools like MaintainX to monitor and close work orders efficiently.Performance Management: Conduct constructive performance evaluations, motivate team growth, and ensure strict compliance with safety protocols and quality standards.Sanitation Program Development: Develop, implement, and regularly review sanitation procedures. Provide comprehensive training to staff on safety, chemical handling, and hygiene practices.Pest Control & Compliance: Supervise the pest management program, identify trends, communicate issues proactively, and coordinate with management to address concerns effectively.Audit & Corrective Actions: Monitor audit results, respond promptly to findings, and implement corrective action plans to ensure ongoing compliance and continuous improvement.Chemical & Supply Management: Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and chemicals, update Safety Data Sheets (SDS) when introducing new chemicals, and ensure proper chemical storage and handling.Facility & Equipment Enhancements: Recommend modifications to plant layouts and equipment to improve sanitation efficiency, safety, and workflow.Additional Responsibilities: Support general plant cleaning, assist with disassembly/reassembly of processing equipment, and ensure proper airflow and ventilation maintenance.Qualifications & Skills:Prior experience in cleaning or sanitation within a manufacturing or warehouse environment.Strong organizational, communication, and time management abilities.Outstanding attention to detail, with a strong focus on safety, hygiene, and quality.Physical stamina and the ability to work full shifts, including overtime when necessary.Knowledge of modern sanitation practices, chemical handling, safety protocols, and OSHA regulations.If you are passionate about maintaining impeccable cleanliness and safety standards, and eager to advance your leadership career within a vibrant manufacturing setting, we want to hear from you!
