Summary
Performs clinical services within the Behavioral Health Program as directed, specifically supporting esketamine treatment delivery under physician oversight and in accordance with approved protocols.
Responsibilities
Maintains active or associate membership on PHS Medical Staff in good standing and abides by all relevant obligations within the PHS Medical Staff Organization.
Performs professional clinical duties as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner supporting esketamine treatment in accordance with established protocols and REMS requirements.
Works in close collaboration with the supervising psychiatrist, who retains responsibility as physician of record.
Performs patient assessment, monitoring, post‑treatment observation, and documentation.
Escalates all clinical concerns and deviations to supervising MD.
Collaborates with nursing and ancillary staff and participates in multidisciplinary treatment planning.
Ensures compliance with all safety, monitoring, and regulatory requirements.
Participates in quality and process improvement initiatives.
Performs additional duties as directed.
Qualifications
Master's Degree.
NM Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNP) – PMHNP.
Active NM licensure.
Esketamine training required.
