Job Title: Podiatrist (DPM)
Location: Greater Binghamton Health Center (GBHC), Binghamton, NY
Job Type: Contract (Part-Time)
Pay rate: $220 per hour
Schedule: Two (2) 5‑hour clinical sessions per month
Position Overview
Greater Binghamton Health Center (GBHC), operated by the New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH), is seeking a licensed Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) to provide podiatry services to patients in a behavioral health setting. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified podiatrist seeking a flexible, part‑time contract position with a New York State facility.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive podiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment.
Deliver routine and preventive foot care services.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support patient care.
Adhere to all facility, state, and professional standards.
Minimum Qualifications
Active New York State Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) license.
Board Certified by ABMS or an equivalent recognized board.
Current malpractice insurance with minimum coverage of $1 million per occurrence / $3 million aggregate.
Strong communication and clinical documentation skills.
Schedule
2 clinical sessions per month
5 hours per session
Approximately 10 clinical hours per month
Year 1 includes approximately 60 hours of paid orientation/training in addition to clinical service hours.
