Job description
Lee Health seeks a Lab Point Of Care and Safety Coordinator to lead point-of-care testing quality, safety, and regulatory compliance across our hospitals and outpatient sites. This role develops and maintains POC testing policies, oversees instrument validation and quality control, and ensures adherence to CAP, CLIA, and Joint Commission standards. The coordinator trains and audits clinical staff, investigates safety events, tracks performance metrics, and partners with nursing, laboratory, and leadership teams to drive continuous improvement in patient safety and diagnostic reliability for the Southwest Florida community.
