Job description
The City of Battle Creek is seeking an experienced, progressive law enforcement executive to serve as Chief of Police. This national search targets strong leadership to sustain crime reductions and deepen community partnerships using modern policing strategies.
Reporting to the City Manager, the Chief will guide operations, develop future leaders, and uphold constitutional policing and professional service in a diverse city of about 53,000 residents, with a commitment to accountable governance.
