Job description
Lifeguard/Water Safety InstructorPerform in a lifeguard position in order to protect the life and well being of each patron using the aquatic facility. Teach appropriate skills as determined by American Red Cross standards in the Learn to Swim program.Locations: Dick Hewson Aquatic Center at Thompson Valley High School, Loveland High School Pool, Mountain View High School Aquatic Center.Summary: Lifeguards starting rate of pay is $15.16 per hour and Water Safety Instructors start at $15.50 per hour.Essential duties and responsibilities include patron surveillance, office support, facility maintenance, and providing emergency care. Must have current American Red Cross Lifeguard Training and CPR for the Professional Rescuer/AED certifications for Lifeguards and current American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor certification for Water Safety Instructors.
