Location: US:WI:MENOMONEE FALLS at our FROEDTERT MEN FALLS HOSPITAL facility.

Schedule:
Schedule: Hours are variable based on departmental needs and employee availability.
Shift Opportunities: Weekend and/or weekday shifts are available on either 1st or 2nd shift. (8 Hour Shifts)
Availability Requirement: OPT Pharmacists must provide a minimum of four available dates within each six-week scheduling period.
Minimum Commitment: OPT Pharmacists are required to work a minimum of one shift per six-week scheduling period.
Additional Hours: Opportunities to work additional shifts may become available based on employee availability and departmental staffing needs. This includes support for sick call coverage or other shift vacancies that arise after schedule publication.
Job Summary:
Responsible for all aspects of pharmacotherapy on an assigned patient care unit. Provides clinical support and distribution services in coordination with physician and nursing services in delivering quality and cost-effective drug therapy to patients. Other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:
A minimum of one year hospital or three years of other pharmacy experience is preferred.
EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:
Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. from an ACPE certified school of pharmacy is required. Successful completion of an ASHP accredited PGY1 residency is preferred.
SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION:
Demonstrates effective use of computers and applications (e.g. MS Word, Excel, Outlook) as appropriate to practice and communicates effectively. Active membership in the Pharmacy Society of Wisconsin (PSW) preferred. Active membership in the American Society of Health System Pharmacists (ASHP) and/or other national pharmacy organizations as approved by the Pharmacy Administration preferred.
LICENSURE DESCRIPTION:
Active Wisconsin Pharmacist License is required or eligible for and must obtain within 3 months.
