About The Opportunity
The successful Port Ambassador will drive the revenue opportunities of the ticket booth and surrounding areas, capturing potential guests that are in the area. The ultimate responsibility of this position is to increase on-site ticket and merchandise sales in addition to other partner opportunities as they present themselves.
Serves as point person in generating walk up sales, both in front of the ticket booth in addition to nearby areas with high foot traffic
Successfully persuades guest to purchase tickets, merchandise, and any other sales opportunities that exist within the specific ticket booth.
Exhibits ability to bounce back quick from receiving a no, with the understanding that the success of the role is partially predicated on conversing with as many potential guests as possible.
Upsells guests to higher value items if possible, including existing guests that may have already made a purchase.
Run reporting that reflects sales during that period, which are to be delivered to your supervisor for commission processing.
Assists in overseeing ticket booth brand presentation, including the appearance of the ticket booth itself in addition to the crew members that work in the ticket booth.
Regularly monitors guest engagement from the ticket booth staff, including proper eye contact and a positive attitude.
Address guests by name and recognize their special occasions.
Explain products or services and prices, and answer questions from guests.
Collect outstanding balances for reservations and collect payment vouchers from third party

Requirements & Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalency is required.
Must have a minimum of 1 year customer service experience in a direct selling role
Previous sales experience is preferred, especially in a B2C setting
Cash handling experience preferred
Strong customer service, organization, and interpersonal skills.
Maintain a high level of organization, detailed oriented and meet deadlines.
Handle multiple tasks/projects at one time.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships as required by job responsibility.
Listen effectively, assess the situation, determine relevant issues, & suggest solutions.
Have a working knowledge of computer skills, including but not limited to proficiency with Microsoft Office Suites.
Will be required to be available for work nights, weekends and on all major holidays.
Salary: $20 per hour, plus commission
