Porter/ GroundskeeperThe Porter/ Groundskeeper at Millcroft Apartments in Milford, OH is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of the property's common areas, grounds, and amenities. This role ensures a welcoming and well-maintained environment for residents, staff, and visitors while supporting the maintenance and service team with routine tasks as needed.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Cleaning and Grounds MaintenanceClean and maintain common areas, hallways, lobbies, stairwells, elevators, and restroomsSweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors, furniture, and fixturesCollect and dispose of trash, recyclables, and debris from common areas and groundsMaintain outdoor areas, including sidewalks, courtyards, parking areas, and landscaped spacesRemove snow, ice, leaves, and other hazards from pathways and entrances as requiredSupport to Maintenance and Service TeamAssist maintenance staff with minor repairs, preventative maintenance preparation, and work order supportTransport supplies, tools, and equipment as directedNotify management or maintenance team of safety hazards, maintenance needs, or damagesAssist with move-in/move-out processes, including unit trash out and cleaning as needed.Safety and ComplianceFollow all safety protocols, including the proper use of PPEEnsure compliance with property policies, safety regulations, and cleanliness standardsReport incidents, accidents, or unsafe conditions immediatelyResident and Staff InteractionProvide courteous, professional service to residents, staff, and visitorsRespond promptly to requests for assistance within scope of dutiesMaintain a positive and professional demeanor at all timesQualifications:High school diploma or equivalentPrevious custodial, groundskeeping, or property maintenance experience a plusAbility to follow instructions and complete tasks independentlyWillingness to learn and develop technical skillsValid driver's license and reliable transportationAbility to lift up to 50 poundsFrequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and carryingAbility to operate cleaning equipment, tools, and basic property maintenance equipmentAbility to work outdoors in varying weather conditionsAvailability for on-call or emergency tasks as requiredEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
