Job description
Top-Tier Bank in Midtown, Manhattan is seeking a Portfolio Manager VP (Corporate Banking)
Responsibilities:
Monitoring, analyzing and reporting the asset quality across a wide range of industries within the Corporate Banking portfolio
Produce periodic portfolio overview and analysis
Conduct account portfolio monitoring, identify emerging risks, and provide risk analysis with Relationship Manager
Conduct and monitor portfolio analytics to assess credit performance and trends across various credit risk dimensions (credit rating, industries/sectors, structures, geographies, credit policy exceptions, and covenant exceptions, etc.)
Identify early warning signs of risk and escalating as needed
Monitor and maintain portfolio to adhere to applicable credit policies and compliance requirements
Discuss and propose risk mitigation/reduction strategies with Team Leaders and Relationship Managers
Keep senior management and Relationship Manager abreast with the latest economic and market updates
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, accounting, or related fields
5+ years of experience in corporate credit analysis or portfolio management
Excel modeling, PowerPoint, and other data mining financial modeling skills
