We are currently seeking a dedicated Home Health Aide who speaks Portuguese fluently to join our team in South River, NJ. The schedule is Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9am to 1pm.
nJob Description: We are looking for a caring and experienced Home Health Aide to assist an elderly patient in South River, NJ. The primary responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), bathing, feeding, medication management, and meal preparation.
nResponsibilities:
nProvide compassionate care to an elderly patient.
nAssist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
nAdminister medication as prescribed.
nPrepare and serve nutritious home-cooked meals.
nEngage the patient in meaningful activities and companionship.
nMaintain a safe and clean environment.
nCommunicate effectively with the patient, family members, and healthcare providers.
nMonitor and report any changes in the patient’s condition.
nRequirements:
nAbility to assist with light housekeeping.
nStrong communication and interpersonal skills.
nReliable, compassionate, and patient-focused.
nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.
nMust be able to pass a background check.
