Sales And Business Development DirectorThe Sales and Business Development Director position is a key sales role within the TCS IOT&DE – Digital Thread Sub Business Unit in North America, responsible for executing sales and business development for industrial and manufacturing companies, across all industry verticals. The candidate will develop revenue-producing relationships with decision-making CxO level executives at targeted firms, as well as drive the sales cycle of all assigned sales opportunities from initial prospect communication through contract execution. The role is supported by on-site and offshore Pre-Sales & Solution teams. The candidate will develop strategy on Product Lifecycle Management and Application lifecycle management solutions from TCS core offerings and create potential business leads. Convert the deals into consistent and scalable revenue generated accounts.Responsibilities:Understand current PLM markets and define strategy in each PLM solutions. Build leads from targeted customers proactively and win the dealsAchieve defined goal for total contract valueDefine, develop and own the go-to-market strategy with partnersAchieve revenue targets from defined set of accountsWork with TCS' and partner's extended alliance and sales organization across the globe to achieve revenue targetsEstablish executive connects with customersIdentify strategic accounts together with the partner and convert big deals togetherCollaborate and leverage other channels in TCS and in ecosystem to create and shape larger dealsResponsible for total deal wins in contract value, and total revenue generated in the focused set of accountsQualifications:Experience in enterprise engineering and manufacturing technology sales – 10 years minimum. 15+ years' experience - preferenceExperience in technology sales management and large, multi-million dollars deals sales execution. Experience in creating multi million (10Mn USD) businessProven track record for C-level engagement and executive relationship building, connect and messagingExperience in technology product and services sales. Services sales experience – advantageKnowledge and experience in PLM, ERP, CAD, CRM, EAS, IOT, etc. sales – advantageHands-on experience in technology and solution architect experience – advantageIn-depth knowledge and hands-on experience of different PLM solutions (both open source and licensed)Latest digital technologies understanding and market trends (cloud-based PLM/ALM, SaaS, IIoT and other trends)Digital thread solutions and associated industry domain understandingMust have a passion for sales and technologyMust have exceptional communications & written skillsStrong business acumenMust know how to build, develop, and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholdersLocation: Anywhere in the USTravel: Travel will be required for this position, 40%-50% travelEducation: Engineering and technology, management is preferredGroup: Internet of Things and Digital EngineeringSalary Range: $116,934-$216,594 a year
