Post CommanderValcor Security is currently seeking a highly professional and experienced Post Commander for a confidential security assignment. This leadership position requires a strong operational mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively supervise and manage a security team in a high-expectation environment.The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership capabilities, operational awareness, and the ability to maintain professionalism while ensuring site security, team accountability, and client satisfaction. This role is critical to maintaining operational excellence and requires someone who can lead by example while enforcing company standards and site protocols.QualificationsUSA Veteran or former Law Enforcement highly preferredMinimum 2 years of experience in securityMinimum 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience requiredExcellent English communication skills (verbal and written)Professional appearance and strong interpersonal skillsAbility to manage staff and maintain discipline on siteStrong situational awareness and decision-making abilityAbility to remain calm and professional under pressureExperience handling incident documentation and operational reportingCalifornia Guard Card requiredReliable transportation and dependable attendance strongly preferredKey ResponsibilitiesOperational LeadershipSupervise and support the security team assigned to the locationEnsure all officers follow site-specific SOPs and company standardsMaintain a professional and structured security presence on siteConduct shift briefings and communicate operational updates to staffEnsure officers maintain proper uniform standards and professionalismMonitor overall site performance and address operational deficiencies immediatelyTraining and DevelopmentConduct on-site training for new officers assigned to the locationEnsure all guards are fully trained on procedures, expectations, and incident responseMaintain operational consistency and performance standardsProvide coaching, corrective guidance, and ongoing support to officers as neededClient RelationsServe as the primary point of contact for client representativesMaintain strong professional communication with site managementAddress operational concerns quickly and effectivelyMaintain a positive and solutions-oriented relationship with the clientSecurity OperationsMonitor building entrances and maintain visible security presenceIdentify and address suspicious activity, theft, loitering, vandalism, or safety concernsEnsure the safety of residents, staff, visitors, and propertyRespond appropriately to emergencies, disturbances, or security incidentsConduct routine patrols and security checks as required by site protocolsReporting and ComplianceComplete incident reports and operational documentation when necessaryEnsure proper shift coverage and operational continuityCommunicate with Valcor management regarding site performance or concernsMaintain accurate daily activity reports and pass-down logsEnsure compliance with company policies, client expectations, and California security regulationsWhat We Offer$24 to $25 per hourLeadership role within a growing security organizationStructured operational support and training systemsOpportunity for advancement within Valcor SecurityProfessional work environment with leadership development opportunitiesDirect support from management and operations teamsThis is a confidential assignment requiring professionalism, discretion, reliability, and strong leadership abilities.
