Job description
Powder PainterThe Powder Painter is responsible for all set up of painting equipment and painting processes (powder, spray, or liquid) for the organization.Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Hand spraying parts or products using liquid or powder coat painting processes.Mixing liquid paint or powder to specifications.Cleaning and prepping of parts prior to painting, including plugging and masking parts to be painted.Wearing protective equipment while working is mandatory.Working in powder paint booth for extended periods of time.Verification that finished work is in conformance.CompetenciesOrganization SkillsTakes care of equipmentGood communication; reading, writing & verbal.Initiative & safety consciousBasic math skillsTime managementProtective Equipment RequiredSafety glassesSteel-toed shoesChemical suits, when necessary, as well as ear plugs, vests and coverallsRespirator or face-shield when necessaryRequired Education and ExperienceHigh School Diploma or equivalent.Preferred Education and ExperienceThree (3) years of manufacturing experience, two (2) years with same/similar equipmentPrevious CNC and welding experience is a plusBenefitsBenefits for full-time employees include Paid Time Off, medical, dental, vision, life & disability insurance, 401k matching, Employee Referral Program, and Employee Assistance ProgramPosition Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position.
