Its extensive reach encompasses designing, manufacturing, coating, and distributing high-quality bakery equipment and supplies. Today, Bundy Baking Solutions operates worldwide, employing nearly 2,000 people across 11 countries and multiple business units and manufacturing facilities.The Powder Coater is responsible for applying a layer or layers of coating to product to protect it. Cleans product and applies non-stick coating.Primary Duties and Responsibilities include the following:Apply coatings to various productsFollow work instructions, policies and procedures and meet safety guidelinesCorrect imperfections on surfaceCarefully cleanse product to remove dust and dirtQuality Issues to look for: fabric/hair on pan, dent/scratch/crack/bad band at backside of pan, silver spots, metal wire from oven and metal shaving from backside of pan, discoloring (brown, black spots/marks), rust on pan, primer drop on pan, powder drop on pan, burned brown color powder from oven, sand on pan if the pan has been sandblasted, powder bubble/blister, primer on top edge or outside of pan. Notify supervisor if any issues.Report to supervisor if there is an issue or deviation.Refer to list of cautions- things not to do to avoid contamination of the pansCleans powder from outside of panCleans masks under instruction (1 to 4 times)Check pan coating surface after powder spray (for evenness)Operate Hand SprayerQualifications, Knowledge and Skills:Previous powder coating experience is preferredKnowledge of basic hand spray, gun coating systemsHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, material safety data sheets, operating and maintenance instructions, company handbook, and procedure manualsAbility to follow all safety procedures and guidelines
