Job description
Powder CoaterThe Powder Coater applies high-quality powder coatings to furniture and related products using electrostatic spray equipment and curing ovens. This role ensures a consistent finish, follows established safety protocols, and supports accurate production and inventory tracking through computer and ERP systems in a collaborative manufacturing environment.ResponsibilitiesPowder coating, spray guns, sandblasting tools, and curing ovens, in accordance with safety and quality standards.Prepare surfaces for coating, including cleaning, masking, and sandblasting, to ensure proper adhesion and finish.Inspect coated items for defects, such as uneven coverage, runs, or contamination, and make necessary adjustments or rework to meet quality requirements.Wear and maintain appropriate protective attire (such as a bunny suit) while working with coating materials and equipment.This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Camarillo, CA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
