Apply now.Powder Coater Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Powder Coater to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying durable powder coatings to various metal products, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet company standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where precision, safety, and efficiency are paramount. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, experience with industrial painting processes, and a proactive approach to materials handling and fabrication tasks. Powder Coater Pay: $20-26/hour (Plymouth, MN)Powder Coater Shift: Monday - Friday, 7 am to 4 pm with OT eligibilityPowder Coater Key Requirements:2+ years experience powder coatingExperience using warehouse management systemsKnowledge of mechanical systems, machining, welding, and fabrication techniques is highly advantageousHands-on experience with forklift operation, crane usage, and materials handling in a warehouse settingUnderstanding of lean manufacturing practices to promote continuous improvementAbility to use precision measuring instruments such as calipers or gauges accuratelyBasic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality checksPowder Coater Key Responsibilities:Prepare metal parts and components for coating by cleaning, sanding, or masking as needed using hand tools and power toolsOperate powder coating equipment, including spray booths and coating systems, to apply even coats of powder finishMonitor coating thickness and quality using precision measuring instruments and ensure adherence to specificationsManage materials handling tasks such as loading parts into ovens using forkliftsMaintain a clean work area by following safety protocols and performing regular equipment maintenanceConduct visual inspections of finished products for defects or inconsistencies and perform touch-ups or rework as necessaryFollow lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow, reduce waste, and improve overall efficiencyJoin Us.PrideStaff Company OverviewPrideStaff is a locally-owned staffing & placement firm with a strong reputation as a fun-loving, quality-focused service provider.PrideStaff is the highest rated staffing agency in the area.
