Job description
Powder Coating SupervisorWe are seeking an experienced Powder Coating Supervisor to oversee daily powder coating, warehouse, and production operations while leading a team and supporting manufacturing processes.The ideal candidate has hands-on powder coating experience, electrical experience, and previous leadership experience in a manufacturing, production, or warehouse environment.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise daily powder coating, warehouse, and production operationsLead, train, and coordinate material handlers and production employeesOversee powder coating processes to ensure quality, efficiency, and production standards are metMonitor workflow and ensure materials are organized and available for productionWork with molding equipment and manufacturing processesAssemble, wire, and install electrical control panels and related electrical components as neededTroubleshoot basic electrical issues and assist with production equipment as neededMaintain a safe, clean, and organized work environmentMonitor production activities and address issues that may impact quality or productivityCommunicate effectively with team members and managementWork independently with minimal supervision while effectively leading the teamAssist with other production and warehouse duties as neededRequired QualificationsHands-on powder coating experience is requiredHands-on electrical experience is requiredPrevious supervisory or lead experience in a manufacturing, production, or warehouse environment preferredExperience with molding equipment and manufacturing processesAbility to assemble and wire electrical control panels is a plusStrong understanding of workplace safety and production proceduresAbility to lead, train, and motivate a teamStrong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and make decisions with minimal supervisionStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityEQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER: Surge is an equal opportunity employer.
