Our company offers the most comprehensive benefits package in the area to our employees, generous paid time off, and competitive wages.The Powder Packaging Operator is responsible for the efficient operation and preventative maintenance of powder packaging equipment within a dairy processing environment. Essential duties and responsibilities include:Comply with applicable good manufacturing, safety and quality assurance practicesVerify quality control items such as product weights, coding, and packaging.Perform daily cleaning and sanitation of equipment and processes.Maintain proper documentation in all formats of recordkeeping.Operate equipment at an efficient level to fulfill production schedules.Preventative maintenance on equipment and processes.Assist in other areas of the plant as needed.Other duties as assigned by supervisor.Position requirements include:Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Ability to adapt effectively within a continually changing and demanding environment.Demonstrate an understanding of powder packaging operations, flows, and troubleshooting ability.Must be able to demonstrate an ability and willingness to communicate effectively in order to maintain high levels of Safety, Quality, and Efficiency.Ability to read and comprehend standard operating procedures and company guidelines in order to maintain regulatory compliance.General computer skills and ability to operate testing equipment.Maintain necessary powered industrial vehicle certifications. EX. Forklift, Scissor Lift, Floor Scrubber.Education/Experience: High School Diploma or General Education Degree.
