Location: Sandusky, OH
Pay:
$20.00 - $30.00 per hour (Based on Experience)
Local Company is seeking dependable and mechanically inclined individuals to join our team as Non-Powered Conveyor Assemblers on 1st shift. This position is responsible for assembling conveyor systems and components according to engineering specifications while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and productivity.
Responsibilities:
Assemble non-powered conveyor systems, frames, rollers, supports, and related components
Read and interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, and work instructions
Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices to complete assemblies accurately
Verify finished products meet quality and engineering standards
Install conveyor components and hardware according to specifications
Perform inspections and identify any assembly defects or issues
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Follow all company safety and quality procedures
Assist with additional production and assembly tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED preferred
Previous assembly, manufacturing, construction, automotive, or mechanical experience preferred
Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings is a plus
Experience using hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Basic math and measurement skills required
Physical Requirements:
Stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout the shift
Regularly lift up to 25 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
Ability to perform repetitive assembly tasks in a production environment
Work Environment:
Industrial manufacturing facility with exposure to machinery, moderate noise levels, and varying temperatures. Required PPE, including steel-toe footwear, must be worn at all times.
