HKA Enterprise is seeking a Power Distribution Designer II to join our team in Raleigh, NC!
This role is a great opportunity for someone with experience in electrical power distribution design who is looking to grow their technical skills and advance their career.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop overhead and underground electrical distribution designs.
Prepare design drawings and Bills of Materials (BOMs) for construction projects.
Conduct field data collection and project inspections.
Assist with cable, transformer loading, voltage drop, and pole loading calculations.
Prepare permitting documents and other project-related paperwork.
Collaborate with clients, customers, and construction crews.
Follow established safety standards and support storm restoration efforts as needed.
Qualifications:
Associate degree preferred.
At least 1 year of power distribution experience preferred.
Ability to work in an office setting and perform fieldwork as required.
Strong attention to detail, commitment to safety, and willingness to learn.
