Job Title: ORV Mechanic
Location: Wyoming, MN
Compensation: $24.00-$25.00 per hour - paid weekly
Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM-3:30 PM

Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring ORV Mechanics for an engineering and vehicle testing facility in Wyoming, MN. In this role, you'll support vehicle inventory reduction efforts through the inspection, repair, refurbishment, and processing of off-road vehicles, including ATVs, UTVs, and snowmobiles. Read below for more information!Apply now and our AI Recruiter, Valerie, will reach out ASAP to learn more about how you match this role!What You'll Do as a ORV Mechanic: Perform mechanical repairs, inspections, and refurbishment of off-road vehicles
Diagnose issues and replace major components, including engines, drivetrains, frames, and electrical systems
Prepare vehicles for sale through servicing, updates, and quality inspections
Process vehicles for scrap, including fluid draining, battery removal, and teardown activities
Maintain accurate inventory records using desktop systems, tablets, and Excel
Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move vehicles and components
Support inventory organization, facility operations, and track/trail maintenance
What You Need to Bring to the ORV Mechanic Role: High school diploma or equivalent required
3+ years of hands-on mechanic or technician experience in powersports, automotive, or heavy equipment environments
Strong mechanical aptitude with diagnostic and major component repair experience
Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Excel
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Ability to safely operate forklifts or willingness to become certified
Ability to lift and work with heavy components in a shop environment
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
Powersports/ORV experience with ATVs, UTVs, or snowmobiles
2-year technical degree in PowerSports, Automotive, Diesel Technology, or related field
Forklift and skid loader experience
Inventory management or warehouse experience
Welding, fabrication, or salvage/refurbishment experience #IndeedNorth
