Fox Powersports has a Service Advisor opening in Baldwin, MI at Fox Powersports Peacock. You would contribute to our overall vision, "Working together moving people throughout life," by developing and maintaining trust with our customers that will build long-term relationships.
nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES
nThe Service Advisor is a trusted Powersports expert that plays an active role in the service lane. As a Service Advisor, you are responsible for selling and scheduling needed service work, preparing, and presenting repair orders, and maintaining customer records. Fox Powersports is looking for a Service Advisor that has Powersports knowledge, strong written and verbal communication skills, and is team focused. nKey responsibilities include the following. Others may be assigned.
nnSchedules service appointments.
nGreets customers in a timely, friendly manner and obtains unit information.
nObtains customer and unit data prior to arrival when possible.
nWrites up customer's unit problems accurately and clearly on repair order.
nRefers to service history, inspects unit, and recommends additional needed service.
nProvides a complete and accurate written cost estimate for labor and parts.
nChecks on progress of repair throughout the day. Contacts customers regarding any changes in the estimate or promised time, explains cost and time requirements in detail, and gets proper authorization before any additional repairs are performed.
nReviews repair orders to ensure that work is completed, and additional work and authorization is noted. Closes repair order as appropriate.
nExplains completed work and all charges to customers.
n nSKILLS & EXPERIENCE
nnTwo to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
nExperience and desire to work with technology to drive an exceptional customer experience.
nExcellent communication, organization, and follow-up skills.
nAbility to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effective.
nValid driver's license.
