The Operator is responsible for proper care and operation of equipment. This is a CDL required position. Involves driving large manual air brake trucks.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Services and performs general and preventative maintenance on equipment.
Driving large manual trucks with air brakes.
Qualifications
CDL (Required)
5+ years of experience in heavy equipment operating in an industrial setting is required
Possession of a current valid driver's license
Knowledge of proper operation of heavy equipment as well as safety standards
Physical Requirements/Job Site Requirements
Must be able to complete hiring paperwork electronically through DocuSign
May be required to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
Must possess enough strength and stamina to perform the technical duties and essential functions as identified above
Must be able to move in and around confined spaces and uneven areas
Must have full range of motion consistent with age
Must be able to climb and maintain balance on ladders
Must be able to adequately hear and respond to voice commands and alerts from other employees, alarms and other job-related noises
Visual acuity, depth perception and color discrimination consistent with that required to work at heights and on uneven surfaces
Safety/Steel toe shoes are required
