Pre-Anesthesia SchedulerWe are seeking a Pre-Anesthesia Scheduler to support a busy Pre-Anesthesia Clinic within a leading healthcare organization. This position is responsible for coordinating pre-anesthesia appointments for patients preparing for upcoming surgical procedures. (Primary locations fully on site: Palo Alto and/or Redwood City)Responsibilities:Review scheduling reports and work queues in Epic to identify patients requiring pre-anesthesia appointments.Contact patients by telephone to schedule appointments in a timely and professional manner.Determine whether appointments should be conducted in person or virtually based on established scheduling criteria.Schedule a minimum of approximately 30 appointments per day, with an expected range of 30–50 appointments.Accurately document appointment and scheduling information in Epic.Request and track medical records as needed.Communicate with patient care coordinators, schedulers, and clinical staff to support efficient scheduling.Provide professional, patient-centered customer service during patient interactions.Follow established clinic workflows, standard work, and escalation procedures.Maintain accuracy and confidentiality when handling patient information.Follow organizational policies, procedures, and standards of conduct.
